Nothing Gold Can Stay

Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

Robert Frost

    So true! Days ago I was amazed by how blossoming a tree was which is near my house. Today I passed by it again and can already tell that it’s changing and not as vigorous as before. (Still very beautiful though) Great shot by the way!
