When he found the money in the account his outlook brightened. It was not so much as would complicate things. You know, turn a man’s desires from thousands to millions. Would not spoil a man, but rather restore what once was lost. And so the fears and the disappointments were gone, for the moment anyway. He dusted his hands, one against the other. He had not felt this way since, well, since a long, long time. It was as if the leaves that had been stunted by a long winter and were hesitant till then had returned in full foliage and the branches swayed again in the breeze and deep breathing was restored. Oxygen everywhere. And he drank in the warmth and light. A job finished.
