What I Love About Blogging (IV)

The idea (and actual possibility) that some combination of words I send out into the electronic ether will find its way to some established and grand judge of things.  Someone whose taste is unquestioned and whose authority is universally recognized and who will say: “This piece of yours knocked me off my feet.  I’ve never seen anything quite like it.  It made me look deeper and the deeper I went into your work, the more surprised and impressed I was.  You simply must come into the fold.  I’ve already called my agents on your behalf.  There are contracts waiting for you, and we are working to have you considered for awards.”
